UCLA Mildred E. Mathias Botanical Gardens

Introduction

On August 15and 16, our group went to UCLA Mildred E. Mathias Botanical Garden twice. We are excited to explore here because we love to see natural plants and animals. That is also the reason why we chose this topic.

During the two-day trip, we learnt a lot. We enjoyed the beautiful scenery there, Like 5000 kind of plants and many wild animals. We love the squirrels and tortoises best because there. Then, after interviewing the manager and visitors there, we knew the history why it is named after Mildred E. Mathias and what the visitors think of this botanical garden.

It is quite a difference experience for us. We learnt how to explore a place that is new to us and also we used the skills learnt from class to make conversations.

Now, you may really want to know the details of our exploring. So, enjoy it, we will show you a gorgeous botanical garden. Listen to our podcast at http://soundcloud.com/community56/ucla-botanical-gardens
